The country’s Ministry of Electricity, is tendering for four renewable projects

Iraq plans to build three solar power plants and one wind power plant.

The country’s Ministry of Electricity, in coordination with the National Investment Commission (NIC), is tendering for four renewable projects of between 5 and 10MW.

The solar projects will be located in Diwaniya province and Najaf province, while the wind project will be built in the province of Missan.

Investors interested in these opportunities should submit a letter of interest to the National Investment Commission by 13th May at oss@investpromo.gov.iq.
